Company Overview
Deden Technologies, LLC is a Limited Liability Company majority owned by
principal manager, Michael J. Deden. Deden Technologies, LLC develops and
markets revolutionary Functional Strength Systems for the commercial and
consumer strength-training and physical rehabilitation markets. Deden Technologies
secondary markets include the medical industry and government/NASA contracting.
History
Deden Technologies product development began in 1986 when Michael J. Deden
completed his track and field career at the University of Montana. As a
successful track and field athlete, Mr. Deden became highly interested in
athletic training devices and techniques. He combined his passion of mechanical
engineering and peak athletic performance to develop innovative strength-training
equipment that he classified as Functional Strength Systems. In 1999 Mr.
Deden founded Deden Technologies LLC and introduced its first product, the
KOR TRAINER.
Functional Strength Systems
While the majority of strength-equipment focuses on building muscle by restricting
users to predetermined paths of motion and limiting their speed of movement,
Deden Technologies focuses on freeing users to functionally enhance their
athletic abilities. To achieve this, Deden Technologies incorporates Functional
Strength Training - a time efficient training method that maximizes athletic
potential by integrating weight training with sport-specific movement. To
embody this training method Deden Technologies designs strength-equipment
they refer to as Functional Strength Systems. These systems allow users
to simultaneously train sport-specific strength, speed and skill against
an appropriate opposing resistance system, whose paths of motion and speed
of movement are solely governed by the user.
More specifically, Deden Technologies’ Functional Strength Systems are designed
to enhance ground-based movements. Technically, ground-based movements are
fundamental athletic movements that act to support, accelerate and position
an individual’s center of gravity while supported by one or both feet. Ground-based
movements are responsible for initiating, maintaining, and altering “ballistic”
athletic movements like those incorporated by jumping, running and dodging.
While ground-based movements are essential to the existence of sport, they
are also essential to basic human mobility. In fact, walking requires a
ground-based movement to initiate, maintain and alter it. Ground-based movements
utilize the neural-muscular-skeletal systems of the entire body and principally
those systems associated with the lower torso, hips, thighs, knees, lower
legs, ankles and feet.
The KOR TRAINER
The KOR TRAINER uniquely allows users to increase their sport-specific strength,
speed and skill by performing ground-based movements against an opposing
resistance system whose paths of motion and speed of movement are solely
governed by the user. The result is an extremely efficient means to acquire
functional athletic strength and maximize athletic potential.
The KOR TRAINER not only provides an unsurpassed athletic training environment;
its clean distinctive looks and rugged innovative construction will be well
received by demanding commercial customers. Its whisper-smooth operation
and solid feel are attributed to superior engineering, components and construction.
Because the KOR TRAINER is designed to develop high-performance athletes,
everything about it exceeds industry standards. The KOR TRAINER’s unique
and innovative design will make it a highly differentiated product in an
industry of many similarities. Deden Technologies is committed to the development
of the Functional Strength Systems product line and believes that the KOR
TRAINER represents the future of athletic strength-training equipment.
